Donal 'Marcus' O Neill is considered one of the best Kerry goalkeepers never to win an All Ireland Senior Football Medal. A South Kerry man he won Kerry County Championship medals in 1951 with Dick Fitzgerald's and in 1955-56-58 with that great South Kerry team. He played in goal for Kerry at Minor, Junior and Senior level. Considered a controversial character, Marcus as he is more properly known, rarely if ever gave interviews. Here he talks to Weeshie about his life and times and in fact he has also played for Killarney Legion and Firies. Without doubt this can be considered a historic and rare interview.
