Tracy has been one of the main faces and voices on the Irish sporting scene for almost 20 years. She started her broadcasting career in 1988 when she won the Ladies Race in Leopardstown and was spotted by Tim O'Connor, Head of RTÉ Sport. Recognising her talent he invited her to do an audition and since then she has been one of Irelands favourite sports commentators.
Tracy has come from a background submerged in racing and has always followed her genuine interest in the business. After leaving school she spent three years working in America as a "galloper" in Florida and Kentucky. New York and Los Angeles for many of the leading trainers.
Tracy has been part and parcel of the sporting industry in Ireland, presenting RTÉ's Sports Stadium for four years, Sunday Sport, and she also worked for two years concurrently with RTÉ and the BBC as well as appearing on many talk shows.
