Seán Seosamh is originally from Kilmoyley but has been domiciled for a long time in Tralee. He was a recipient of the North Kerry Hurling Hall of Fame award in 2011.

Has had a life long interest in all things Gaelic, including its games, culture, history and language.
Won a Co. Minor Hurling Championship medal with Kilmoyley as goalkeeper in 1953.
 
Served as Kilmoyley North Kerry and Co. Board delegate. A former Secretary & Treasurer of Kilmoyley Hurling Club.

A former Secretary of the North Kerry Hurling Board between the years 1957 – 1959 and was elected President of the Board in 2010.

His uncle Moss Nolan from Ardrahan was a 5 time Chairman of the North Kerry Hurling Board between 1932 and 1950 and the Ó Conchubhair family presented a perpetual cup to the Board  in 2010 to honour his memory.

highly involved with the setting up and growth of Scoil Mhic Easmainn in Tralee

Also has been involved with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and has had a particular interest in the story of patriot, Roger Casement.
