Former Irish and Manchester United goalkeeper Harry Gregg is a legendary name in the world of sport. In 2001, he made a special two hour appearance on Terrace Talk and in a captivating interview, which held listeners spellbound, he recalled his life and in particular, how he escaped death when his Manchester United teammates, known as "The Busby Babes" perished in the Munich air disaster. This is a truly memorable Terrace Talk.

In his prime, Harry Gregg was one of the best goalkeepers in the world - in fact, he was voted the best, following the World Cup Finals played in Sweden. However, he will be forever remembered as one of the Munich survivors of 1957 when his team, Manchester Utd, under the great Matt Busby were nearly wiped out in that tragic air disaster. Harry Gregg walked out alive from the wreckage, and in one chilling section of this interview, Harry recounts in vivid and graphic detail the events surrounding that fateful hour in which he lost many of his great team mates.
