In this memorable and historic interview with Weeshie recorded at Jimmy's pub in Knockcroghery, he brings us on a wonderful journey back to his early football days of the thirties and recalls in vivid detail those memorable All Ireland victories. His beautiful rich and soft voice will captivate and enthrall, and he finishes with a wonderful rendering of the song about his own place, Knockcroghery.  A timeless, priceless interview.

Jimmy Murray is regarded as one of the Gaelic Athletic Association's most decorated Gaelic footballers. The Knockcroghery man is one of only eight captains to lift the Sam Maguire Cup twice.
