The name of Dr. Eamonn O Sullivan will always be a household word as long as Gaelic Games and athletics live on in Ireland.Eamonn's record breaking feat as trainer of 8 All Ireland winning Kerry teams, his staging of the college competitions and his organisation of athletic meetings throughout the country in the late 20's will be talked about for many a long day. Others will remember him as a man who brought a breath of fresh air and hope to the mentally ill through the pioneering of open air therapy as a worthwhile method of treatment.
And Im delighted and honoured to have as my guest the eldest of Dr. Eamonn's four sons James who will talk to us about the man he knew as his father, and remind us of some of the great projects that his late father initiated.
